Southern Despair Tour 2008 w/ Zircon & Sapremia

Well Last night i went to the Sterling to see Sapremia and Zircon. I'll put up the review now and I'll add pictures later.

Alright well I don't know who the first band was that was playing nor do I care because i didnt really like them. I was sitting near the back in one of the booths reading pulse weekly and watching the re-run of the Jets/Eagles game from Thursday.

Ebenezer was up next. They were freaking good. They didnt have vocals so they were pretty much a jam band/instrumental thrash. Not really much to say about them other than that

In between Ebenezer and the next band(Silence your ghost). I went and bought the new Sapremia CD, With Winter Comes Despair, and a Sapremia Long-sleeve!

Silence you ghost
was up next. I didnt really like them either but I was standing at the point( i thought i might as well get up from the booth I had been sitting at). Anyways Silence you ghost was like metalcore-ish and I wasnt digging it at all.

Mortal Decay
was next and they kicked ass. I seen them before. I think the last time was at March metal massacre. Anyways they freakin killed! Lou(lead singer from Sapremia) joined them onstage to preform Cadaverous Sculptures Part 1 - Preparing For Display since he does vocals on that track. I tried to record some video of it on my phone but it came out horrible.

After Mortal Decay was Zircon from Massachusetts. they were freakin awesome too. Their style reminded me of immortal(Yes that Immortal!) They had a really good set and they did a cover of Desperate cry which was orginally done by Sepultura.

Then the final band of the night! Sapremia!!!!!!!!!!!!! they brought the place down! I have seen them before too. I seen them maybe 2-3 times before but they never got the chance to play this long before I don't think. I thoroughly enjoyed their set. After them the show was over and it was 1am so I was ready to go home and relax bing my feet were hurting me.

Thats about it for now. I'll add pictures later on.
